"All
I wanted to do now was get back to Africa. We had not left it yet, but
when I would wake in the night, I would lie, listening, homesick for it
already." - Ernest Hemingway

I
always wondered about this quote by Hemingway until we were fortunate to
go to Africa and then, especially, travel along this stretch of the Nile River
where it flows through the border region of Uganda,
South Sudan and The Congo.
Teeming with
water buffalo, hippos and crocodiles, it’s a water “road less traveled;” and
we were so glad to have had the chance to take it.
