“Even if I had failed, I would have
no regrets. I now realize that you only
regret the things you don’t do.”—Diane
Von Furstenberg
Wise
words to start your weekend. We’re doing
Sandhill Crane watching (on their migration) this weekend, and not letting old age stand
in the way of hiking out into the marshes and sloughs to watch the spectacular sight
of them landing or taking off in waves on one of the great animal migrations on
this planet.
Would’ve
always wondered if I could have or should have done it IF I didn’t. At one spot a guide said the saddest four
words in the English language are “You
should have seen,” especially when
you know you missed it and probably might never get the chance again.
Happy
weekend exploring and writing about the world around you.
